We had an early dinner at our local Ethiopia restaurant yesterday to celebrate the Ethiopian New Year. This was Gabre's first taste of her homeland food. She LOVED it. As you can see from the below pictures she went to town. We are so lucky to have an Ethiopian restaurant and the owners are so kind to us. They hold and play with Gabre while we eat. We feel right at home.

I can't believe how big Gabre is getting. I can't imagine Lidya eating "real" food like that, how fun that will be. Maybe we can try Ras Kassa's again when you guys are in town.

Thanks for the sweet comment on our blog! Oh my word, Gabre is PRECIOUS!! Malak is obviously my favorite baby boy but Gabre has got to be the cutest little doll I have ever seen!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I appreciate this more than you know. This trip to Ethiopia has been a dream of mine for a long time and I really want to make as much of an impact as I can in those short 2 weeks, so I am so grateful to everyone who helps me to do this. Thank you again!! I am going to post more Care Package pictures soon once I go shopping and get some more supplies!
